The LNK-NC604 Serial Device Server enables seamless integration of industrial serial equipment into modern Ethernet networks. It converts RS232, RS422, and RS485 serial interfaces to 10/100M Ethernet, allowing centralized management and remote access to distributed serial devices and host computers through standard IP networks.

This robust device supports a comprehensive suite of network protocols including HTTP, TCP, UDP, ARP, ICMP, DNS, and DHCP, ensuring reliable communication across diverse network environments. It features Windows Native COM port support with automatic recovery functionality that reestablishes connections after network interruptions.

For flexible configuration, the LNK-NC604 provides multiple management options through a dedicated Windows-based utility and an intuitive web interface. These tools guide administrators through device setup, monitoring, and maintenance processes. All configurations can be performed remotely via network or locally through serial connection, with support for gateway and router traversal. Users can easily define IP addresses, select between Server and Client operation modes, and adjust data packet sizes according to application requirements.
