LNK-INJ401-30 is a hardened 2.5G PoE injector that is designed for connecting IEEE 802.3 af/at PoE devices, such as cameras and access points, to a non-PoE LAN switch. With a maximum distance of 100 meters, this injector provides a simple and efficient solution for extending PoE connections.

Both the Ethernet port (to switch) and PoE Out port (to PoE device) support 10/100/1000/2.5G Base-T and comply with IEEE 802.3ab standards. The PoE Out port also meets the requirements of IEEE 802.3 at, ensuring reliable and high-speed data transmission.

LNK-INJ401-30 offers an integrated power solution, with a wide range voltage of 12~48VDC, to support high availability applications. Additionally, its hardened design allows it to operate in demanding environments, with a temperature range of -40°C to +75°C. It is also certified for IP30 protection, ensuring durability and reliability even in the harshest conditions.

Ethernet

There are two standards for Power over Ethernet: IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at. The processing type is forward, which can be used in both half-duplex and full-duplex modes. The forward filter rate is 3,720,000pps (2.5Gbps).

The cabling for this Ethernet system is 10/100/1000/2.5G Base-T and is compatible with Cat6A or above cables. The maximum distance for Cat6A UTP is 100m. This system has 2x RJ45 connectors.

Environmental

The operating temperature for this Ethernet system ranges from -40°C to 80°C (-40°F to 176°F). The storage temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C (-40°F to 185°F). The relative humidity should be between 5% and 95% non-condensing. The Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) is greater than 200,000hrs.

Electrical and Mechanical

The input power range for this system is 12~48VDC (Terminal Block) and the power consumption is limited to 36W. This system also supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) with the IEEE802.3af/at standard. The port is RJ45 and the power pin assignment is 4/5(+) and 7/8(-). The maximum power per port is 30W in Alternative B Mode. The LED indicators show the power status and PoE status. The dimensions of the system are 95 x 70 x 30 mm and it weighs 0.25kg. The casing is made of aluminum and it can be mounted using DIN-Rail or wall-mount options.
